Making a purchase
Our online shop facility is only available for use by our UK customers.
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked to login, or register with the details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept Visa, MasterCard & Maestro. All orders placed using a credit or debit card will be processed by the WorldPay payment gateway and will be charged for immediately. You may also place a credit/debit card order over the phone. In the event of card fraud being detected, the proper authorities will be informed and legal action will be taken.
Delivery
Delivery can only be made to commercial addresses only. Any orders placed for delivery to a residential address will not be processed (although your card may still be charged if paying by WorldPay).
All mainland UK orders (excluding orders containing ‘made to order’ items) will be delivered by UPS courier on a standard service. Delivery times vary between the hours 8.00am to 6.00pm (Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland: 3-4 working days). However, orders placed after 3.30pm (Mon-Thu) and 1.30pm (Fri) may not be processed until the following working day.
Shipments which are heavier than 20kg may be charged at cost. If we decide to do this we will contact you via your registered email, or telephone number to discuss additional charges. For further information about delivery charges, please contact Lighthouse on 01509 264500.
Delivery & VAT charges
All advertised prices are exclusive of VAT and delivery. Delivery and the standard rate of VAT will be added to all orders during the checkout phase of the online shop.
Back orders
If your item is not in stock, we will place your order on ‘back order’ for you. This means that we’ll hold onto your order and deliver when the products come back into stock. In the event of a ‘back order’ we will contact you to offer you the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Returns policy
Your right to cancel an order
Your rights to return goods are protected under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. As a consumer you are within your rights to cancel an order from our online shop (without penalty or reason), within the period of fourteen calendar days from receipt of the complete order. To cancel an order please contact us by telephone on 01509 264500 (Mon-Thu, 9am-5pm, Fri, 8am-4pm), by return email, or via our contact us page.
After providing us with notice of cancellation you then have a further fourteen calendar days to return the goods. Once received, we will check the goods are unused and in a resalable condition prior to reimbursing any amount paid. You will be entitled to the cost of the goods including the least expensive delivery option (currently our standard UPS delivery charge of £6.00 plus VAT). The refund will be made via the original payment method.
You will be liable for any delivery charges incurred in returning your order to us.
